Research Inclusion Manager

We are looking for an experienced Patient and Public Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PPIEP) professional with excellent communication and people skills. Working closely with the Research Inclusion Senior Manager, Equality Diversity and Research Inclusion Manager and other members of pour team, you will form part of the leadership for delivering PPIEP and increasing its effectiveness within the Oxford BRC and Oxford Clinical Research Facility (CRF). 

Grade: NHS AfC: Band 7

Contract: Fixed term: 20 months (until 31 March 2028, the end of the current funding period)

Hours: Part time – 22.5 hours per week (We can offer between 18-22.5 hours a week, depending on experience and availability)

Site: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

Closing date: 19 April 2026

Interview date: 15 May 2026

Main duties

You will be responsible for developing and leading inclusive PPIEP training and resources to public contributors and researchers, as well as providing support to public contributors to enable meaningful involvement in health and care research, with particular focus on under-served communities.

You will work closely with academic and clinical researchers to ensure a robust understanding and confidence to embed PPIEP in their research, including developing and delivering training and resources in the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and how it applies to PPIEP. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that PPIEP training is delivered collaboratively with a range of partners, as well as supporting the Oxford BRC/CRF public involvement groups.
