The Business Development team part of the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre: Oxford supports the creation and long–term sustainability of key research alliances between the BRC and Industry. Our focused engagement allows us to provide the necessary resources to support and develop long term collaborative partnerships by setting up several key strategic relationships with big pharma and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s).
As a department, we also manage a number of industry supported fellowship schemes, run targeted networking and matchmaking events and work closely with partners across Oxford University including our Business Partnerships Office, Translational Research Office, our technology transfer office Oxford University Innovation and our contracts teams in Research Services.
