Research Inclusion Manager
We are looking for an experienced Patient and Public Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PPIEP) professional with excellent communication and people skills. Working closely with the Research Inclusion Senior Manager, Equality Diversity and Research Inclusion Manager and other members of our team, you will form part of the leadership for delivering PPIEP and increasing its effectiveness within the Oxford BRC and Oxford Clinical Research Facility (CRF).
Grade: NHS AfC: Band 7
Contract: Fixed term: 20 months (until 31 March 2028, the end of the current funding period)
Hours: Part time - 22.5 hours per week (We can offer between 18-22.5 hours a week, depending on experience and availability)

Main duties
You will be responsible for developing and leading inclusive PPIEP training and resources to public contributors and researchers, as well as providing support to public contributors to enable meaningful involvement in health and care research, with particular focus on under-served communities.
You will work closely with academic and clinical researchers to ensure a robust understanding and confidence to embed PPIEP in their research, including developing and delivering training and resources in the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and how it applies to PPIEP.
You will be responsible for ensuring that PPIEP training is delivered collaboratively with a range of partners, as well as supporting the Oxford BRC/CRF public involvement groups.

NIHR BRC Administration Manager
Grade NHS AfC: Band 6

The BRC Administration Manager will play a vital role in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, providing support to the BRC management team office and a personal assistant service to the Head and Deputy Head of BRC Operations
Main duties of the job
This is a varied post requiring a highly organised approach and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Experience of working within or closely with the NHS or higher education is an advantage.
The post-holder will also provide effective and professional support for the development and implementation of the BRC’s operations, meetings and events. They will assist with organising local, national and international review panels, meetings, conferences and events, as well as assisting with the collation of quarterly and annual reporting to NIHR.
