About Us

Dr Jennifer Anderson

Jennifer Anderson
Jennifer Anderson

As Head of Operations, I lead the core management team and have overall responsibility for the strategic development and operational management of the BRC. I work closely with senior leaders in the BRC and partner organisations to successfully deliver the BRC’s strategic objectives.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD in cancer cell biology from the University of Nottingham. After finishing my PhD, I worked as a postdoc in the Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology. After eight years, I moved into research administration, first as Athena Swan advisor and facilitator in the Medical Sciences Divisional Office of the University of Oxford and then spent eight years working for the Medical Research Council, where I acquired a range of experience in research funding policy, operational delivery and strategy.
