About Us

Ellie Goodman

Eleanor Goodman
Ellie Goodman

I am the Research Inclusion Manager for the Oxford BRC, and my role supports people from all backgrounds and communities to engage in health research. Through training, guidance and support for both researchers and members of the public, I work to ensure that research is shaped by the experiences and priorities of the people it aims to benefit.

Prior to joining the Oxford BRC in 2026, I worked as a Trainer Consultant at the National Autistic Society where I developed and delivered evidence-based training on accessibility, autism, neurodivergence, mental health and reasonable adjustments to thousands of professionals across healthcare, education, government, social care, criminal justice and corporate sectors.

Alongside training I led co-produced service improvement and consultancy projects with NHS trusts, local authorities and national organisations, helping to improve services for autistic and neurodivergent people.

I am also an Occupational Therapist and have worked across mental health services and specialist education. I am passionate about inclusion, accessibility and creating opportunities for everyone to contribute to and benefit from research.
