At this exciting time for dementia research, we aim to better understand an individual’s dementia risk by using advanced cognitive tests, brain imaging and blood tests. Early assessment creates opportunities for dementia prevention and new treatments.
Our advisory group works with our researchers on designing and implementing research, helping to create effective communications, and advising us on how we might engage better with the public.
We are looking for people with an interest in dementia and some experience of the condition.
No previous experience of PPI is needed, and training can be provided where desired.
The advisory group meets 4 times a year for 3 hours, with occasional reading before or after. There are additional projects which would benefit from your help between meetings if you have the time. We would prefer in-person attendance at meetings, but online can be accommodated.
Reimbursement
£25/hour, plus reimbursement of expenses.
