British Heart Foundation Cardiovascular Catalyst Awards

31 August 2021 · Listed under Cardiovascular Medicine, NIHR-BHF

The BHF are pleased to announce an upcoming call for applications to fund research into the use of advanced analytics to improve cardiovascular care delivery and outcomes in the NHS. A £1 million fund is available, and proposals for research projects lasting up to two years and costing up to £200,000 are invited.

Proposals should utilise routinely collected NHS data including, but not limited to, clinical data and healthcare records. Process data relating to healthcare delivery including scheduling and resource allocation also holds the potential to improve patient experience and outcomes. We will consider proposals that have the potential to either deliver care more effectively or to improve outcomes or both.

Full information is available here. Submissions will be open from late September to late November 2021.
