Following an external audit, the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) has again been successfully certified to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The audit of the BRC’s funding Management System was carried out by the UKAS-accredited British Assessment Bureau.
Achieving the ISO 9001:2015 standard means that an organisation has excellent quality management systems in place; it also confirms a strong customer focus and continuous improvement to an international standard.
Dr Lorna Henderson, the BRC’s Interim Head of Operations, said: “We are delighted to have again achieved this highly respected and globally recognised standard. ISO 9001 certification means we are continuously seeking to improve our processes and ensuring we have rigorous systems in place.”
