The University of Oxford is hosting COVID Conversations, a series of short talks with scientists that are driving forward research into COVID-19, including development of a vaccine, drugs, antibody testing and contact tracing systems.
In this talk, Professor Paul Klenerman, Oxford Biomedical Research Centre’s Co-theme Lead for Gastroenterology & Mucosal Immunity and Sidney Truelove Professor of Gastroenterology at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, talks about the Oxford Immunology Network’s research into the immune response to COVID-19, including what they’ve learned so far about the detection of neutralising antibodies, antiviral T cells and innate immune responses.
If you’d like to ask a question during the talk, you can do that through YouTube itself when the talk begins (you’ll need a Google/YouTube account), or on Twitter @UniofOxford with the hashtag #CovidConversations. You can also email the dedicated COVID Conversations account to submit a question in advance of each session.
