To mark Black History Month 2021, the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is sponsoring an online talk by health activist, social commentator and cultural historian Patrick Vernon OBE, who will be discussing Inequalities in Healthcare and Research.
In this University of Oxford Medical Sciences Division talk, Patrick will consider healthcare inequalities through the lens of Black British history. This talk will be followed by a Q&A hosted by Dr Fadi Issa, of the University’s Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences.
