ISO 9001 audit success

18 April 2018 · Listed under Other News

In April, the Oxford BRC successfully participated in an external audit by ACS Registrars Ltd, a UKAS-accredited certification body.

The NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre’s funding Management System was successful certified to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015, a new standard requiring that rigorous processes and procedures are in place.

The audit confirmed that excellent quality management systems are in place, that there was a strong customer focus and that the BRC was continually improving to an international standard.

This is a strong endorsement, as it is the only NIHR BRC to have designated ISO 9001 accreditation.
