The Economics of Population Health Research Centre (formerly HERC), together with the NIHR BRC: Oxford and the NIHR BRC: Oxford Health, invites you to attend aWorkshop on Early Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Translation and Commercialisation of Digital Health Innovations.
Venue: Richard Doll Lecture Theatre, Richard Doll Building,
Old Road Campus, OXFORD, OX3 7LF
About the Workshop:
Digital health innovations—including apps, AI tools, online platforms and wearable technologies—offer significant opportunities to improve healthcare. However, they present new challenges for evaluation, implementation and commercialisation, with decisions often needing to be made before conventional evidence is fully established.
This workshop will explore how early health technology assessment (HTA), economic evaluation and commercial considerations can be integrated to support the successful translation of digital health innovations into clinical practice. Through expert presentations and real-world case studies, participants will discuss approaches to early evaluation, commercialisation pathways and the scaling of digital innovations within the NHS.
The workshop is intended for:
- Researchers and theme leads from the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre and Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre
- Clinicians involved in digital innovation
- Health economists
- Anyone with an interest in digital health evaluation, translation and implementation
