Event Overview: Long before symptoms appear, the body can give us clues if someone will develop Parkinson’s disease. In this talk, Professor Michele Hu will explain how research has shown that people with REM sleep behaviour disorder often go on to develop Parkinson’s more than a decade later. By identifying the warning signs early – and potentially treating them – can we intervene to offer Parkinson’s patients and their families a better quality of life?

Key Speaker: Professor Michele Hu

Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Clinical Neurosciences, Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford.
