Explore how science has transformed what was once a rapidly fatal illness to a managed condition. Technological advances are helping people with diabetes mimic the action of their pancreas, from drugs to patches that deliver insulin via handheld devices. This talk examines how research has transformed lives.

This event is part of the Health Research and You series of talks from the National Institute for Health Research at IF Oxford 2020.
