Council for Allied Health Professions Research workshop on Quality Improvement

Tuesday 18 January 2022 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The CAHPR online workshop will be held by Marc Berry who is a qualified Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton. He is currently the HHFT QI Academic Lead where he develops QI training and education programmes to support staff and to develop QI capability. He coaches teams on how to put these QI skills into practice with their own continuous improvement work.  During the workshop Marc will cover:
  • An introduction to what QI is and its basic principles.
  • A practical work through of what QI tools are available to help you define and diagnose the problem you are trying to solve, design and test new change ideas, as well as looking at some theory around how to sustain changes that you have made.
  • Practising some of the QI tools to help you develop a structured approach to your improvement work.
  • Taking these ideas back to your clinical/research teams and working up your first (or next) QI project.
Before you attend the session you will need to watch the ATOCP pre-recorded presentation (if you are interested in attending this will be emailed out to you).

There will be a follow up CAHPR event to pitch a QI project and also an opportunity to win the CAHPR funding award!
If you would like to attend this event, please email cahpr.oxfordshire@gmail.com to book your space.
