Audit success for BRC

20 May 2015 · Listed under Other News

In April 2015 the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) operations team successfully participated in an external Audit by ACS Registrars Ltd (a UKAS Accredited Certification Body) resulting in the re-certification of the Internationally recognised business management system ISO 9001 standard.

The Oxford Biomedical Research Centre’s funding Management System has been Certified to ISO 9001:2008.

The ISO 9001 standard is a quality management system which enables a process of continual improvement that provides the NIHR Oxford BRC with management tools to improve working practices throughout the entire organisation.

Re-certification of the ISO 9001 standard confirms that excellent Quality Management Systems are in place providing opportunities for continuous assessment and improvement of the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre to Internationally recognised standard.
