Research Education and Training
The NIHR is interested in the development of researchers whose work focuses on people and patient-based applied health research. They promote this research training in order to build a leading NHS Research Faculty, develop research careers, research leaders and collaborators. The RETWG aims to deliver the NIHR vision locally through the Oxford BRC and its NIHR partners, the NIHR Oxford Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit (BRU), the Oxford Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) and the Clinical Research Network: Thames Valley & South Midlands (CRN:TV&SM)/ Academic Health Sciences Network (AHSN).
A list of current Research Education & Training opportunities can be found on the Research Training Opportunities page.
