Oxford BRC Fellowships
The Oxford BRC is currently offering three fellowship programmes for researchers.
These are short awards of 3 to 6 months for people with little or no research experience. The award covers your salary costs for the days away from clinical practice and you are supported with training and mentoring. Learn more
Preparatory Research Fellowships
This pre-doctoral award provides salary costs for six months full-time or up to one year part-time for nurses, midwives or allied health professionals working clinically or in a research capacity for the Oxford NHS Trust and/or the University of Oxford. Learn more
Senior Research Fellowships
The NIHR Oxford BRC Senior Fellows Award scheme recognises and supports individuals with the potential and trajectory to become future leaders in translational research. Learn more
The NIHR now offer an annual Fellowship Programme for health care professionals including nurses, midwives, allied healthcare professionals and doctors. The new programme provides greater flexibility and expanded eligibility.

NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Programme
Applicants to the HEE/NIHR ICA Programme schemes must hold registration with one of the ICA approved regulatory bodies. The programme offers five awards at pre-doctoral, doctoral and post-doctoral levels, which together support the development of a career pathway for practitioner academics. Learn more
