The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford is working with the company CynapseDx on a research project exploring a new approach to treating Alzheimer’s Disease.
We are at an early stage of our research and would like to involve people with experience of Alzheimer’s Disease or Mild Cognitive Impairment to help us develop our project.
We would like to organise a discussion group to understand the importance of the research to patients and families, and your views on the research methods and treatment approach.
The discussion group would run for 2 hours. We are looking for 6 people to take part who are living with Alzheimer’s Disease or Mild Cognitive Impairment, or who are a carer for, or family member of, someone with these conditions.
We would like the discussion group to take place in February and will arrange a venue that is convenient to the people taking part.
For people who take part we will pay travel and carer expenses, plus offer a reimbursement for your time of £30.
If you would be interested in taking part in our discussion group please get in touch with Claire (details below), outlining your connection to Alzheimer’s Disease or Mild Cognitive Impairment.
