We are seeking adults who are interested to learn more about imaging for cancer and how research is progressing the use of imaging for personalised medicine. This work specifically focuses on sarcoma and PET/CT imaging – a specific type of imaging used primarily for cancer.
PPI contributors would be required to have experience with cancer either personally or through a family member. Contributors with experience of sarcoma would be preferred.
We are seeking PPI contributors to help with lay communication of results. This work is technical in nature, and training will be provided to enable effective work between researchers and contributors.
There will be two meetings per year, each one lasting 2 hours. They will be online or in Oxford. There may be additional opportunities to contribute to remote review of resources, depending on contributors’ preferences, and reimbursement would be available for any additional work.
Reimbursement
£50 per meeting.
Travel expenses for face-to-face meetings.
