Heart MRI Scan – Healthy volunteers wanted for heart study

7 October 2020 · Listed under Heart

We need volunteers who are:

— Aged 18-90
— Generally in good health with no cardiac or significant medical condition
— Not claustrophobic

Oxford Acute Myocardial Infarction Study (OxAMI) aims to investigate more detail about heart disease and to see how latest clinical investigation methods combining with the results may improve the way we manage patients with heart disease.

This particular invite of healthy volunteers involves one visit to the John Radcliffe Hospital. You will have an MRI scan of your heart, and ECG and blood samples will be taken. The session will take about 2 hours in total. You will be reimbursed for your travel.
