I would like to talk to anyone who is living with fibromyalgia (chronic widespread pain) and also experiencing sleep problems/disturbance. Would you be interested in working together to examine the best therapies to improve fibromyalgia-related sleep problems?
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) has asked researchers to examine the evidence for any type of therapy which can help patients with fibromyalgia improve their sleep. They would like to know what patients should be recommended based on the best evidence and where future research should be focused.
A small team of us based in Oxford would like to apply to do this research. We are hoping to form a team of patients, clinicians and researchers. If you are interested please contact me, Beth Fordham, firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we win the bid to run this research, patient representatives will be reimbursed for their time working on this project at the rate of £20 per hour.
As soon as possible and before the end of August 2020.
