Our ethnicity, race, gender and age can have a significant impact on how we respond to similar treatments, medications or vaccines. Increasing the number of people in clinical trials can enable researchers and doctors to learn why groups respond in different ways, improve treatments and improve the outcomes for patients. We are reviewing our services to help make inflammatory disease research more diverse and inclusive. We want to identify patients who are currently under-represented in research and understand what helps them take part in clinical trials, as well as any barriers they may face.
We are seeking volunteers to take part in a pilot study to test a set of interview questions we would like to use with patients
