The Oxford BRC Small Grants scheme offers up to £25,000 to enable early career researchers to develop their careers and increase the impact of their work. All applicants should have recently completed a PhD or DPhil and priority will be given to candidates preparing to apply for a post-doctoral fellowship.
Applicants should be employed by Oxford University or Oxford University Hospitals Trust in one of the Oxford BRC themes. The duration can be flexible but grants usually last for three to six months. The grant should be used mainly to claim salary costs, full or part time, and the amount should cover a minimum of 25% of your salary.
The closing date for applications is 26 November 2019. Applications will be reviewed by a panel in early December with awards available from January 2020.
