DESCRIPTION:The University of Oxford is hosting COVID Conversations\, a series of short talks with scientists that are driving forward research into COVID-19\, including development of a vaccine\, drugs\, antibody testing and contact tracing systems. \n\n\n\nIn this talk\, Professor Paul Klenerman\, Oxford Biomedical Research Centre’s Co-theme Lead for Gastroenterology & Mucosal Immunity and Sidney Truelove Professor of Gastroenterology at the Nuffield Department of Medicine\, talks about the Oxford Immunology Network’s research into the immune response to COVID-19\, including what they’ve learned so far about the detection of neutralising antibodies\, antiviral T cells and innate immune responses. \nIf you’d like to ask a question during the talk\, you can do that through YouTube itself when the talk begins (you’ll need a Google/YouTube account)\, or on Twitter @UniofOxford with the hashtag #CovidConversations.
