DESCRIPTION:This introductory course in epidemiology is intended for those who have little or no prior epidemiological training\, but have moved into a student or staff role that requires an understanding of these epidemiological principles for their work. \nThe course will take you from the basic principles of epidemiology\, to the design\, interpretation\, and appraisal of epidemiological research. SUMMARY:Oxford BRC Writing Retreat for Nurses\, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals
DESCRIPTION:This three-day Writing Retreat is sponsored by the Oxford BRC. It is open to all nurses\, midwives and allied health care professionals at any career stage\, working at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who need time and space to focus on writing without interruption. We will provide a mentor to guide you with your writing. \nWe ask that you commit to the full three days. The core days will run from 10.00-16.00\, however you can arrive anytime from 8.30 and stay until 18.00. The workshop will be structured to include regular review and feedback slots and attendees should commit to submitting the output from the workshop within 3 months of the week ending. \nThe retreat will take place on 26th\, 27th and 28th September 2023 at Egrove Park\, Oxford OX1 5NY. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on all 3 days. There is plenty of parking\, the bus number 35 stops outside and it is easily cyclable from Oxford. \n15 places available.
