SUMMARY:Council for Allied Health Professions Research workshop on Quality Improvement
DESCRIPTION:The CAHPR online workshop will be held by Marc Berry who is a qualified Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton. He is currently the HHFT QI Academic Lead where he develops QI training and education programmes to support staff and to develop QI capability. He coaches teams on how to put these QI skills into practice with their own continuous improvement work.  During the workshop Marc will cover:\n\n\nAn introduction to what QI is and its basic principles.\nA practical work through of what QI tools are available to help you define and diagnose the problem you are trying to solve\, design and test new change ideas\, as well as looking at some theory around how to sustain changes that you have made.\nPractising some of the QI tools to help you develop a structured approach to your improvement work.\nTaking these ideas back to your clinical/research teams and working up your first (or next) QI project.\n\nBefore you attend the session you will need to watch the ATOCP pre-recorded presentation (if you are interested in attending this will be emailed out to you).\n \nThere will be a follow up CAHPR event to pitch a QI project and also an opportunity to win the CAHPR funding award!\n\n\nIf you would like to attend this event\, please email cahpr.oxfordshire@gmail.com to book your space.
