Time to wake up: the importance of getting good quality sleep
Thursday 4 July @ 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
With one in three people in the UK affected by insomnia, improving our sleep quality is fast becoming a key public health priority. Dr Simon Kyle will discuss how sleep disruption affects our physical and mental health and the science behind optimising sleep.
The talk will begin at 6.30pm on Thursday 4 July, with refreshments available from 6.15pm.
This event is taking place at Lecture Theatre 1 in the Academic Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital. You can find directions to the hospital on the OUH website. We would recommend that you avoid driving to the hospital if possible, as parking space is very limited. To get to the lecture theatre, enter the hospital through the main entrance (where M&S and WHSmith are located) and turn right to go towards the M&S Café. Before you reach the café, turn left to go through to the courtyard. Go straight across the courtyard and enter the Academic Centre building through the automatic door.
