These events provide an opportunity for networking within theme and across themes within the BRC Chronic Diseases Cluster:
To encourage networking, each event is open to all NIHR Oxford BRC and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff engaged with the six themes.
The Multimorbidity theme event is being run in partnership with NIHR CLAHRC Oxford.
Morning Events 09.00–13.00

Afternoon Events 14.00–17.00
Following a networking lunch, Prof Naveed Sattar will open Session 1 of the Cluster Event with the Keynote Speech ‘Diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease: knowns and unknowns’. This will be followed by Guided Poster Tours which showcase the ongoing research across all of the themes within the Cluster. After a refreshments break Session 2 comprises of three cross-cutting workshops. The afternoon will be brought to a close with prizes being awarded for the best posters. This event is open to members of staff across the six themes.
